It’s Easier Than You Think to Share Confidential Information Safely
With cybersecurity concerns on the rise, how can you safeguard sensitive information against security breaches? To stay in contact most use email as the preferred way to share and discuss details about their estate plan. But as we’ve all read in the news, email is not the most secure way of sharing sensitive information. Without internal encryption, information shared between two people may be intercepted by a third party.
As an attorney, I have an ethical responsibility to protect your confidential communications and information. Cybersecurity and ethical concerns abound when exchanging any sensitive information over email, but particularly when you are transmitting data that could cause harm if it fell into the wrong hands, such as a social security number or financial documents. How do we maintain the confidentiality of your information when the most convenient way of communication may also be the most dangerous?
Our Secure Client Vault
Here at Entrusted Legacy Law you and your family are always our primary focus. We use Decision Vault, a secure portal that allows you to send and receive confidential documents without having to worry about third party interceptions. How does It Work?

Each time our office shares any additional documents, you will receive an email notification and can log in through the Vault Portal online to access the document. You have the option of uploading your own documents such as financial statements, beneficiary forms, policies, and real estate deeds to share with us to best help with your estate planning. Join our membership program and have access to the Vault 24/7 to safely store digital copies of your important documents and information for your loved ones if something were to happen to you.
