Elizabeth is an attorney who focuses on probate matters, helping clients in the greater Pittsburgh area administer the estates of their loved ones. She works diligently to guide families through the necessary legal and financial steps after a death. Her commitment is to ensure that bereaved clients can navigate the often overwhelming process of estate administration with clarity and support.
Her primary focus is making the probate process feel less confusing and stressful for people during a difficult time. She takes time to explain the requirements, whether it involves court filings, asset distribution, or managing debts. For example, Elizabeth excels at clearly outlining the steps involved so clients know exactly what to expect and when. Clients often appreciate her patient, methodical approach, which helps them feel organized and informed throughout the administration of the estate.
Elizabeth graduated with honors from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1993. Following her graduation, she gained valuable experience by clerking for Chief Judge Donald Ziegler of the Western District of Pennsylvania. She then practiced employment law at a large firm downtown, where she managed litigation and case management. Later, she enjoyed research and writing at a smaller firm part-time. Elizabeth took a break from practicing law to raise her family and care for an elderly aunt, before happily returning to focus on estate administration in 2018.
She lives just outside of Pittsburgh with her husband, Mark, and loves spending time at her family cabin in Bedford County.
